A registry for beetles
A permanent record for every beetle.
A platform that issues a permanent public identifier (HHC ID) and a digital Passport for Hercules beetles and other species.
Every beetle has a history. We make it trustworthy.

What this place does
- An identifier that never changes
- Each beetle receives an HHC ID. It can never be changed or reused — the database refuses. A printed label or QR code will never come to point at a different beetle.
- Records are never overwritten
- Measurements and records are not overwritten. A correction is entered as a retraction plus a new entry, so the trace of the change remains. Inconvenient records cannot be quietly removed.
- A history you can follow
- Once a beetle changes hands, that record cannot be altered or deleted by anyone. The stated breeder stays the same even after the holder changes.
- HHC ID format
- HHC-YYYY-XXXX-XXXX
- The last character exists to catch typing mistakes, so a mistyped ID does not lead you to a different beetle.
What HHC does not guarantee
HERCULES UNIVERSE is not an authentication authority. Species, subspecies, locality, generation and bloodline are stored as stated by the person who registered them; we have not verified them. The registered holder shown is not proof of legal ownership. What this place does guarantee is only that who recorded what, and when, can be traced afterwards.
